Six Indoor Activities to Keep the Kiddos Buys on Rainy Sundays

Kids going stir crazy on the rainy weekend? Check out our list of ideas on things to keep the kids busy this Sunday.

MOLAA – Long Beach – Free on Sundays, this is one of our top picks for a rainy Sunday. Might not be the best for rambunctious toddler, but for babies and for school-age kids, MOLAA is our top pick for a rainy Sunday.

We Rock the Spectrum – Long Beach – An awesome indoor playground, you’ve gotta call ahead for open play availability on weekends (today we did that for you: Sunday, 3/11 open play until 12:30 pm and then from 3:30pm until 7pm). Prices are $12 per child with siblings discounted to $10. They also offer an All Day Pass that lets you in and out of the facility all day for just $20.

The philosophy behind We Rock the Spectrum is awesome, it was created to provide a place for children of all ability levels to play and grow together. As the only kid’s gym that offers an inclusive philosophy we have found all children can benefit from our uniquely designed sensory equipment that is specifically designed to aid children with sensory processing disorders.

Bubble Playground – Buena Park  – A little bit of a drive to Buena Park, but this place is AMAZE. Tons of bubbles and nonstop fun for kids of all ages Prices for 12 months – 13 years: Weekdays: $11, Weekends: $15. You do have to pay for adult admission too, the prices for everyone over 13 are: Weekdays: $5, Weekends: $6

AMF Bowling – Cerritos – Let us give you one tip for bowling with kids: learn low bowling. If you’re bowling with the bumpers up, but want to keep it interesting for the grown ups still, let the kids do their thing, but see which grown up can get the lowest score while the bumpers are up. Plus on Sunday, this AMF location has $3 shoes and $3 games… and if you need something to take the edge off, they even do $2 tallboys after 6pm.

Jumping Fun Kids – Buena Park – Sadly, we don’t have one of these inflatable playgrounds in the immediate vicinity of Long Beach, but we love this one in Buena Park. Price is Its $7 for kids 4 and under and $10each kid 4 to 10yrs

Paramount Iceland – Paramount  – Public Skating sessions are a great opportunity for everyone to have fun. These daily sessions are open to people of all ages and ability levels. $10.00 admission and $4.00 skate rental (all ages) (Public session this Sunday, 3/11 is 1:00pm – 3:30pm)
