Events Schedule

Labor Day 2019 (September 2)

Enjoy a day full of live music from Kids Imagine Nation, Jelly of the Month Club, Geezer, and more. It doesn't end with music, take in puppet shows, flower crown making, science and magic shows, bounce houses, photo booths, and so, so, much more.

2018 Entertainment Included

Jelly of the Month Club started when Todd Forman (Sublime) and Bert Susanka (The Ziggens/Astronaut Love triangle) had the idea of putting together a super group combined with different members of bands they had both played with over the years.

The main focus is on writing fun G rated music, the type of fun for the whole family! They have songs ranging from stories about making friends, to a song about waffles.

KIN is a Musical Group (live shows and web series), with original songs and stories that entertain and inspire kids to always use their imagination, and always lend a hand to friends in need!

Geezer is the most rocking Weezer and 90s cover band we know. And yes, they do the whole show dressed as old dudes. It’s awesome.

Auntie Kayte creates meaningful music for raising conscious kids. She inspires children to be the visionaries of the future… and to pick up their toys!

Kymberly Stewart is a dynamic children’s singer/songwriter from Southern California by way of Oakland. Her soulful music and catchy lyrics will have children every where clapping their hands and stomping their feet to the beat of her fun sounds.

Handcrafted puppets, original stories, live, interactive performances, and child-approved fun are all signature trademarks of a Luce Puppet Company show!

What’s a music festival without flower crowns? We’ll have all the supplies on hand to make your very own flower crown so you can ‘gram it up in style at the event and then take it home with you.

We wouldn’t dare hold a family festival without face painting and balloon twisting. Your littles will have plenty of opportunity for all the face painting they can handle, plus a kid-friendly “tattoo parlor.”

Image result for bounce house kidsObstacle courses, bounce castles, ball pits, all the things kiddo dreams are made of – we’ll have them at Littlepalooza.

Check out several different interactive art stations throughout the day including mural painting, live screen printing, and more.

Every guest will receive a giftbag with awesome giveaways, but the first 200 people to purchase tickets will receive a premium gift bag with full size samples, and even more giveaways.

For a Good Cause

With each ticket you purchase, you'll receive a raffle ticket and the opportunity to win prizes valued at up to $300. During the event, you can increase your chances of winning by purchasing raffle tickets. 100% of raffle ticket proceeds go to support Every Lunch Matters LB.

Every Lunch Matters provides food vouchers to hungry students in LBUSD. Each school site, when chosen, will receive vouchers that will be given to a student who is at the limit of their negative balance allowance.

Where do I park?

Follow the signs. You’ll see the entrance to the park along with parking behind the Lowes in the Long Beach Towne Center. Parking is free, though heads up: you may have to walk just a bit (about a 5-7 minute walk) as parking begins to fill up.

Do not park at the Wal-Mart parking lot.

What can I bring?

Do bring: Water. Strollers. Blankets for sitting on the ground. Sunblock.  Skateboard for the skate park area.

Do not bring: Pets. Ice chests. Drones.

Can I bring snacks?

We’re parents too. We get it. those kids are snacking machines. You can certainly bring snacks, but we ask that you not pack a full meal since there will be food vendors on site as well.

Can I buy tickets the day-of?

Sorry! Tickets are all sold out.  If tickets hadn’t sold out, then sure. But we did sell out. Sorry!

Do I need cash?

We’d recommend it. Though most vendors take cards, there will be several free activities where we encourage tipping, like face painting for example.

Can we leave and come back?

Sure. We know there’s nap time and all sorts of reasons why this might happen. Not a problem.

Who is behind this event?

Littlepalooza is produced by LB Littles, which was created to give parents a directory of all things they need to know for raising kids in and around Long Beach.

I want to participate!

Fantastic. Head here and drop us a line. We’re happy to talk to more sponsors, volunteers, entertainment… you name it.

Will there be more events?

You bet. Stay tuned for our full calendar coming soon.

I have a different question.

Send us a message here and we’ll get right back to you with an answer, so long as the question isn’t related to calculus equations.
